** The 'near line of sight' (NLOS) equipment isn't as robust as the other, 'clear line of sight' technology.
Because of this, upload speeds can be much slower than 1.5 Mbps -- something like 100-500 kbps.
Also, only the Basic Plan is available for the NLOS equipment at this time. |
Internet service may not be resold or shared with any outside party
such as neighboring residences or businesses.
Connecting multiple computers requires a broadband router which must be purchased separately.
Wireless Etc does not sell or provide tech support for any customer-owned computer/network equipment.
The installation fee can vary -- even be less than $125 -- depending upon circumstances or needs at each location.
Installation typically involves a 'site survey/test' and then a 2-4 hour labor effort.
This is because we work closely with you during the installation, since we are drilling holes in your property!
